XMAS IS COMING!

Yeah, I know, I know, it's too early to be thinking about Christmas. It always seems a long way off until all of a sudden it drops on us like some big surprise and most of us haven't got our festive plans in place.

Some would argue it's never too early for Christmas (!!) and especially the Liverpool Santa Dash and with some justification as this amazing festive fun run is a few weeks earlier than Christmas and is seen as the official kickstart to Christmas on Merseyside at least.

So... diary note... SUNDAY 1st DECEMBER, 9.30am PIER HEAD LIVERPOOL.

Last year there were around 6,000 Santa Fun Runners filling the city centre and it was as usual a spectacular sight to see.

The streets between the Pier Head, through the Albert Dock and across to the Town Hall display a pulsing sea of movement in red and blue as the St. Nick wannabees make their way around the 5K course. It never fails to impress! Shoppers and party animals from the night before stopping to look on in amazement... or should that be amusement?

The event starts to gather pace on 1st November with the opening of the Santa Dash pop up shop where people can collect thier suits or enter if they already hadn't and a massive thank you ,must go to St. Johns Centre for providing this essential venue.

In addition this year we have In Demand Radio on board - Claire Simmo is already excited - along with official event charity Claire House.

So if you want to make a start on you 2024 Christmas plans then get your entry in nice and early and we'll be in touch as our own festive planning takes shape.

Merry Christmas!
